Todd Deacon
CO-OWNER OF THE FOUNDRY HOT YOGA & FITNESS STUDIOS
TEACHER - 26&2 YOGA, HOT FLOW, HOT PILATES, HOT HIIT
One of my greatest joys is being part of a community that is collectively moving toward a more enlightened world. The Foundry is a very special place. I took my first yoga class when I was 15 years old from Cintra Brown at the first Bikram Yoga studio in Arizona, now the Old Town location. I attended Oregon State University on a golf scholarship and received my degree in Business Administration. After college I played professional golf, at the end of my career I was left with chronic back pain. My sister Nicole encourage me to try a regular practice of yoga 5 times a week to see if that would help my back pain and episodes of barely being able to walk due to slipped disks. In no time I could feel the changes happening, but it took months for me to better understand my body and learn to use the practice to heal my body. I lost 40 lbs in the first year of regular practice and episodes of my back locking up reduced significantly.
In my fourth year of practicing consistently, I competed in both the USA Yoga Asana Regional and National Championship, placing first in the 2016 Arizona Regional event. I'm in the best shape of my life spiritually, mentally and physically and I owe it to The Foundry. My back isn't completely healed (it may never be) but I am able to live a full life and have avoided surgery for many years now. Most importantly, I have two daughters that I get to keep up with and my practice helps me do that!
I love all the classes The Foundry offers and find them all so complimentary to one another. All the classes provide a total body approach, and each has it's own focus that you just don't get in other classes. To me Bikram is the most complete class providing spiritual, mental, and emotional benefits. Additionally providing high levels of flexibility, strength, and endurance. Hot Pilates is so great for your spine and joints, providing strength and flexibility to stabilizing muscles or slow twitch muscles. Pilates create long lean muscles and hits areas of the body that we just don't usually work with a strong emphasis on the core. Hot HIIT is one of the most effective ways to do cardio, building strength in all parts of the body and is focused on our fast twitch muscles. Additionally, the classes have great energy and it's just FUN! I find doing a mix of all the classes works best for me!
I graduated in the inaugural Foundry Teacher Training and received my 200 Hour RYA Certification in 2015. I am also a certified Hot Flow, Pilates & HIIT teacher.
Kimi Glover
ASSISTANT MARKETING DIRECTOR
HOT FLOW YOGA, 26&2 YOGA, BARRE, PILATES & MEDITATION TEACHER
My hot yoga practice began when I was a 20-year-old college student at ASU. Shortly after starting, I committed to my first 30-day challenge which sparked my consistent practice. I felt the incredible mental + physical benefits of practicing for 30 days in a row and was completely hooked. I told myself within that first year of my practice that I would eventually become a teacher. 5 years later, many karma cleaning and front desk shifts later, in 2017, I received my 200-hr RYT through The Foundry! Since then, I have completed my 500-hr RYT, as well as certifications in Barre, Mat Pilates and Meditation. In 2018 I joined the Marketing team for The Foundry studios and have become part of the franchise studio onboarding team. In 2020 I joined the management team as the Old Town Scottsdale studio manager -- now The Foundry Arcadia! I love being surrounded by people that are committed to continuous growth, development and mindful movement. I am so grateful to be a part of this team and community and to have the opportunity to share my passion with like-minded people. I hope to see you on the mat very soon!

Vanessa Woods
TEACHER: 26&2 YOGA, HOT HIIT, HOT BARRE
I am not a naturally flexible person, I have to work hard at it, and Yoga has made me the most flexible I have ever been. It has also given me strength that I didn't know I had. I also really love the mental challenge it presents. There is a lot of focus and concentration that this series requires so I feel like I am growing stronger both physically and mentally.
I went to Arizona State University and earned my Bachelor's degree in Nutrition with a concentration in Human Nutrition. I went on to graduate from Bikram’s Yoga Teacher Training in the fall of 2013. I attended Inferno Hot Pilates Training in 2017 which led me to a new passion... teaching the Hot HIIT class - I LOVE IT!!! I also attended the inaugural Foundry Teacher Training in 2015 and also got my certification to teach Hot Barre through The Foundry Teacher Training in 2018. Having my nutrition background and being able to practice, teach, and still learn multiple modalities gives me a healthy, happy, and balanced lifestyle.

Jess Pate
HOT PILATES & HIIT TEACHER
Hi I’m Jess! I was Born and raised in Peoria, AZ where I grew up dancing until I moved overseas to Australia for college. After obtaining my Dance Education degree out there, I moved back to AZ and received my Exercise Science degree. That’s when I started focusing on body mechanics of Pilates and how it could help in all walks of life. I became certified in 2015 and have been teaching ever since.
I started teaching at the foundry in 2016 and am now part of The Foundry Teacher Training Faculty for Pilates. I have made this my passion and opened my own Private studio in Scottsdale where I train and specialize in training professional athletes.
I love teaching Pilates and Hiit at The Foundry and would love to see you in class sometime! Keep an eye out for my sidekick named Sister, she’s a little blue nose Pittie and makes appearances at the studio quite often ;)

Erin Rogers
HOT HIIT & BARRE TEACHER
I started a brief practice of 26/2 the summer of 2016 right before my move to Arizona. It took me a little time to dive back in but I took my first Foundry yoga class in January 2017 and was hooked. I like the challenge and discipline of hot yoga, and of course, the SWEAT! Once we started adding other classes I quickly fell in love with those too, especially the intensity of HIIT
I went through HIIT and Barre training with the Foundry in 2018 and have been teaching both since
I love teaching at the Foundry because I know the difference a class can make in someone’s day. For me, exercise has always been about my mental health and I feel we hold a safe space for students to be able to “let that shit go”.
When I’m not teaching I work as a Registered Dietitian and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in public health. I love cooking, traveling, being outside, and spending time with my husband and fur children!
Megan Jones
HOT PILATES, HOT HIIT, HOT BARRE TEACHER
I took my very first 90 minute 26&2 class in 2015 at The Foundry. From that first class, I was hooked on the hot room. Not long after, The Foundry began offering Pilates classes and it soon became my favorite modality. In 2018, I combined my passion for teaching and love of Pilates by becoming Mat Pilates certified through The Foundry’s Teacher Training program. Today, I am also a certified Hot HIIT and Barre instructor.
The Foundry has brought me much more than just a physical practice and place to instruct- I’ve gained an amazing community of instructors and students, participated in incredible workshops, and I’ve had the privilege of teaching on three international retreats. I’ve been through many life changes since joining this community, however The Foundry has remained a constant in my life.
When I’m not at the studio sweating, I am public school teacher for students with behavior disorders. In my free time I enjoy cooking, traveling, throwing pottery on the wheel, and spending time with my dog Tuck.

Corie Gonzalez
HOT FLOW YOGA & PILATES TEACHER
I took my first ever yoga class at the Foundry in 2018, I began exploring their other classes and found myself always wanting more. The classes were always amazing and the energy was always high. On good days, on bad days, the Foundry has helped me through my physical and mental growth, bringing stability and pure happiness into my life. I’ve met some of my best friends here and feel so lucky to be apart of this community. In 2022 I went to Belize on a Foundry retreat, so much love and healing happened here and this was where I truly knew this was something I wanted to be a part of for the rest of my life. The Foundry and its community has given so much to me and I hope I am able to fill that cup for others in the community through my classes.

Amanda Wildenstein
HOT FLOW YOGA TEACHER
Hi! My name is Amanda and I teach Hot Flow. I have my 300hr YTT through the Foundry. I graduated summer 2023 and immediately did my mentorship with Todd right after.
I love the Foundry. I love the community. It's my second home!
After an unfortunate situation I decided 5 years ago that it was time for a major life change.
I moved from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Scottsdale, Arizona. I've never been a physically active person. I did not enjoy working out or going to the gym. Before I moved I did a few yoga classes in my living room and was pleasantly surprised! It was fun!! The next day I woke up sore and my mind was blown!!! You can do yoga and be sore. I never thought yoga could be a "workout".
I found the nearest yoga studio to my new home. The Foundry in old town Scottsdale! I had no idea what Bikram yoga was but it worked best with my work schedule. This is where the Magic happened!!! Yoga provided me with the self discipline I was lacking, I could physically see myself getting stronger every day. Mentally I was able to handle situations outside of the studio better than I ever could. The confidence I gained from my regular yoga practice has followed me in all aspects of my life!! I was promoted as Office Manager at the dental office next door to the Arcadia studio. I'm so blessed, I get to walk over from work to practice every day!
Within my first year of practicing at the Foundry I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I couldn't wait to show people that it doesnt matter how old you are or what you've been through. You can start Yoga at any time.
A regular yoga practice will change your life! I can't wait to practice with you! See you on your mat!

John Burch
26&2 HOT YOGA TEACHER
I discovered yoga in July 2020 at a park flow class with the Foundry and immediately felt a transformative shift within. Not only did it alleviate years of knee and back pain from sports, but it also revealed a path to my true self. What started as a weekly practice quickly evolved into a daily routine, as my body and mind craved the balance it brought. Yoga has brought much to my life, most notably joy and peace.
Recently, I completed the 200hr 26&2 teacher training in 2023, marking the beginning of an exciting journey toward further mental and physical growth.

HOT FLOW YOGA TEACHER
I started practicing with The Foundry in 2021 and was immediately hooked on sweating it out in the hot room. My first love was basic + 26&2 where I really built up my knowledge of yoga and all the amazing benefits it has on the body, mind and soul. When I stumbled across Flow however, it was game over! The poses, the heat and the playlists have healed my heart and mind in so many ways and I knew it was something I wanted to share with others.
I went through teacher training with The Foundry for Hot Flow in 2024 and I'm excited to share all that I’ve learned there and along the way. Can’t wait to move with you!

Tyler Marrs
HOT FLOW YOGA TEACHER
Growing up with yoga in my family—my mom and aunt have been teaching for over 20+ years—I always appreciated the practice, but it wasn't until I moved to Arizona, and eventually walked into The Foundry, that I truly respected the power of yoga. What kept me coming back wasn't just the physical benefits, but the incredible sense of community I found there. During some of my toughest days, The Foundry helped me find strength I didn't know I had. My journey deepened when I completed The Foundry's Yoga Teacher Training in 2024, allowing me to share this transformative practice with others. Now, I'm passionate about creating that same welcoming space—a place where we grow together, support each other through challenges, and celebrate our progress. Join me on the mat where every breath is an opportunity for connection.
When I'm not practicing, I love hiking, being in the sun, walking the canal, and spending time with loved ones—including my golden retriever, Morrison ("Morri"). I also run a non-toxic, fluoride-free toothpaste company! These passions, along with yoga, create a balanced life focused on wellness and connection.
