I absolutely love what I do! I am committed to optimizing all students to the best of their abilities.Movement is medicine and a fit body contributes to a sound mind. Being able to perform movement with intention while improving one’s own strength and flexibility is at the core of each of my classes.
I began my professional journey over thirty years ago obtaining my bachelo’s in Exercise Physiology from the University of San Francisco and then my Master's in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University. I have had the opportunity to bring my expertise to various fields of health and wellness including rehabilitation and physical therapy, fitness club management,and wellness program coordinating. My versatile background is what makes me a well-roundedteacher!
My passion lies in inspiring others to meet their professional fitness and wellness endeavors. Whether as adjunct faculty at the collegiate level or directing and developing teacher training programs at The Foundry, I enjoy helping students find their own professional paths in the fitness industry.

My name is Sofie Nordstrom and I teach Pilates and barre here at The Foundry Arrowhead Ranch! My love and passion for intentional movement stems from my dance background. When I was about 13 years old, my dance studio introduced Pilates to us and it has been a part of me ever since. I began taking classes at The Foundry when I was in high school, joined the Pilates teacher training my sophomore year of college, and barre training my junior year. The Foundry is truly such a unique and special place. This space and community has gifted me my greatest joy that is teaching, as well as confidence, empowerment, empathy, knowledge and opportunities I could have never imagined for myself. I am forever grateful for this place and want everyone to experience its magic.

I discovered yoga in July 2020 at a park flow class with the Foundry and immediately felt a transformative shift within. Not only did it alleviate years of knee and back pain from sports, but it also revealed a path to my true self. What started as a weekly practice quickly evolved into a daily routine, as my body and mind craved the balance it brought. Yoga has brought much to my life, most notably joy and peace. Recently, I completed the 200hr 26&2 teacher training in 2023, marking the beginning of an exciting journey toward further mental and physical growth.

I am trained in 26&2 and I teach Express Yoga, 75 minute music class, Basic Yoga and 90 Minute 26&2. I completed my teacher training in 2021 with the Foundry because I was searching for “something” and it led me on the most amazing path which I’m currently still on.

Nicole Warren

I have been practicing yoga for 16 years. I found hot yoga in a time in my life when I was not good physically or mentally and yoga healed my body. After receiving so many life changing benefits I began my path of healing through yoga and started working on my teaching certifications. I am 500 YTT certified and teach Bikram yoga, Pilates, HIIT, Barre, Cycling, meditation, breath work, Flow, restorative yoga and sound vibrational therapy through drumming.
I have dedicated my teaching career to helping serve others, donating my time to give back to multiple communities. I absolutely love teaching at The Foundry! The students, community and leadership inspire me daily. The Foundry’s vision to help others aligns and resonates with me deeply. There is no greater joy than giving to others and the Foundry community is filled with so much joy and magic. Working at the Foundry has helped me become the best version of myself and allows me to hold space for others to do the same.
I recently became the newest yoga ambassador for Lululemon and will be bringing more movement to more communities. I have taught with The Foundry international yoga retreats and lead my first yoga retreat in Bali August 2023. My philanthropy extends to different communities around me and I believe in helping others through breath and connecting the mind and body. I have 2 sons Evan and Cole. Being surrounded by my family is the best gift in my life.

Hello, I’m Heather, your dedicated Flow yoga instructor, and my journey into the world of yoga began over two decades ago. Like many, I initially stepped onto a yoga mat in search of a fun workout and a path to fitness. Little did I know that this single step would lead me on a profound lifelong voyage of self-discovery and holistic healing, embracing my spiritual, physical, mental, energetic, and emotional dimensions.
In 2016, I received my first yoga certification in Buti Yoga and began sharing my passion in the vibrant yoga communities of Chicago and San Diego. Fast forward to the summer of 2023, where I proudly completed my 200hr YTT with The Foundry.
In my classes, I create a welcoming and inclusive space for practitioners of all levels. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, I'm here to guide you on a transformative journey, just as yoga has done for me. The magic of yoga lies in its ability to connect your mind, body, and spirit. Through the practice of Flow yoga, I aim to help you discover your inner strength, find balance, and cultivate a deep sense of inner peace. Each class is a unique opportunity for growth and self-exploration, and I can’t wait to embark on this beautiful journey with you.

26&2 HOT YOGA TEACHER
At 21, I was absolutely rocked by bikram yoga. Almost twenty years later, this style of yoga still surprises me with the magnitude of discipline and the depth of self one can explore in a hot, up to 105 degree room with jungle humidity. The series of postures, the breathing, the movement in structure with form being of greater importance than depth, keeps a person humble. We are always students.
Outside of the studio, I channel energy into being an entrepreneur, private chef and artist. I love mountain biking, hiking and doing yoga with my husband, Chris. I yearn to travel more and appreciate the opportunity to grow roots here in Arizona, amongst the saguaro, very cool rocks and amazing people.

I started my yoga journey in late 2011. The first time I stepped into the hot room, braving the novelty of the practice and the heat, little did I know that Bikram yoga would instill a passion in me unlike anything other. Yoga has guided me through some of my biggest challenges, teaching me confidence, humility, self-determination, and serenity. The opportunity to share the magic with my students aligns with the practice itself.
In my “spare time” outside the studio, I am a wife, mom of 2 humans and 3 fur babies, and a lawyer. . . a balance of which I achieve through yoga.

I was introduced to the yoga world by my mom when I was a kid and practiced on and off at The Foundry through my teens, but it wasn’t until a Flow class a couple years ago that I truly fell in love with it and began practicing consistently. The way the teacher spoke with such passion helped me connect deeply with my mind, body, and mat. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with practicing at The Foundry and the growth it’s brought me on and off the mat. I hope to inspire others the same way The Foundry teachers have inspired me, and I can’t wait to share this practice with you!

A coworker of mine would always come to work telling me about the heated pilates and HIIT classes they just came from, and how it was the best way to start their day. I remember thinking "this guy is absolutely insane! Working out is already hard enough, who would want to do it in a heated room?" Then, after researching the copious benefits of heated exercise, and my coworker relentlessly inviting me to join, one day I was intrigued enough to try. I took my first ever Hot HIIT class at The Foundry and I never looked back! The Foundry changed my life immediately. It granted me a community of kind hearted, hard-working, and like-minded friends that continue to inspire me to be the best version of myself. Rachel Holland
YIN YOGA TEACHER
I’ve been practicing yoga for as long as I can remember, first discovering my mom’s old VHS tapes (remember those?) as a child. I became certified as a 500 RYT in 2020 and, in 2021, Ialso earned certification in the 26x2 style. My classes are grounded in anatomy and alignment, focusing on safely building postures to achieve their benefits while guiding students toward the fullest expression of each pose. I remind my students that every body looks and moves differently, and that understanding one’s own body—while using props and modifications—helps them find postures in their own way, safely and effectively evolving their practice.
I teach a variety of styles including Hatha, Yin, 26x2/Bikram, Restorative, Power, Chair, Meditation, and Yoga Nidra. No matter the style, I encourage students to find their breath and remember that stillness and silence are essential parts of any practice. I also enjoy weaving elements of different styles into my classes, introducing students to the many beautiful aspects of yoga beyond just the Asana practice.
When I’m not practicing or teaching, you can find me exploring the outdoors with my husband and dog, growing a food forest here in the desert, or reinventing furniture and other objects to give them a new life.

As an Arizona native, I live for a good heated class, and for the mindfulness and control that comes with the practice. Raised on Pilates and Yoga by The Foundry’s very own Julie Valenzuela, I’ve been lucky to learn from the best from day one! Having recently graduated college and completed The Foundry’s 100-hour Pilates certification, I am beyond excited to put my passion for health and movement into practice. On a warm Colorado evening while having a conversation with a young yoga teacher, I had a matter of fact knowing. I would be a yoga teacher one day. I said it out loud. The young teacher, Jessica, said, "But you've never even taken a yoga class." I said, "I know, but I see that it will happen." Ten years later I took my 1st hot yoga class. I was immediately hooked and never looked back. Another ten years later I remembered that long forgotten conversation while in teacher training! It came full circle. My journey with yoga healed me from deep trauma including PTSD and spinal surgery, among other obstacles. I began teaching multiple types of Yoga classes and mat Pilates in 2019. Teaching is the most gratifying, rewarding, humbling and satisfying thing I have ever done. It is my lifelong passion to continue discovering, learning and advancing my skills as an enlightened teacher. I am blessed to have some close, dear friends that are long time yoga teachers as my mentors. I also look to the Ancients for guidance and purpose. After years of working in a sedentary office environment, I began experiencing the effects of poor posture, low energy, and chronic tension. I turned to yoga and Pilates—not as a fitness trend, but as a way to reconnect with my body and feel better in my daily life. What started as a personal practice quickly became a passion—and ultimately, a calling to teach.
I hold a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from YBJ in New Mexico, a 100-hour Hot Mat Pilates certification from The Foundry in Phoenix (2023), and I’m a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NPCP) specializing in mat-based Pilates. When I’m not teaching or working as an accountant, I love spending time with friends, family, and my cats, and traveling whenever I can—always seeking out local fitness studios along the way. It's important to be a student too!

I discovered the foundry paradise valley in 2008. I always went to the gym but my gym partner & I decided to try something new. I signed up for the two weeks for $40 they were offering & was immediately hooked on 26&2. That’s all they offered at the time. I worked at that studio a little bit before & after the pandemic. Now I enjoy all the classes we offer, & still enjoy lifting at the gym!!

Hi! My name is Zoe and I just graduated from the University of Arizona this past may and moved back to Phoenix! I started practicing yoga my freshman year of college and became obsessed! I then got into pilates and barre when I moved to a studio that offered all three.! Since moving back to Phoenix I started working and practicing at The Foundry and I felt so welcomed by the community here! In the spring, I’ll be completing my 200-hour YTT and I’m so excited to deepen my practice and continue growing at The Foundry.

I first started taking 26&2 yoga over a decade ago when a friend invited me to the Foundry Old Town location. I then proceeded to become a Karma cleaner at both the PV & Arcadia studios.
Today, I enjoy working at the Foundry Arrowhead Ranch, where I practice both yoga and fitness classes. Outside of the Foundry, I board dogs, love to travel with my husband, hike and play soccer, golf and pickleball. I also enjoy volunteering at my church & in the community to help others.
