TEMPE-MESA STUDIO MANAGER
HOT BARRE, PILATES & HIIT TEACHER
Lauren started taking barre classes when she moved from Michigan. She started with a 30 day package and took class every day (mostly 6am) and became obsessed! After years of cheerleading and a love for exercise the community and endorphins were addicting.
Lauren has been teaching barre classes for the past 4 years, both in person and virtually. Her certification is from The Bar Method (2019). She joined The Foundry team in February 2023!
Lauren loves teaching at The Foundry because it brings the heat! Obviously in the temperature, but every client that steps into the room motivates her to plan challenging, fun, and form focused barre classes. The clients are incredible - getting to know so many amazing members and their “why” has been inspiring!
Lauren had her first baby, Vann, in October 2022. He joined the family with 2 Golden Retriever brothers, Charlie (13) and Leo (9) and every day is a competition as to who is spoiled the most. Fun fact about Lauren - her and her husband eloped and got married in the Grand Canyon in front of Havasupai Falls! If you enjoy hiking or any adventure be sure to share a cool experience with her!

LEAD 26&2 HOT YOGA TEACHER
I had no direction in my life until I started practicing the Hot 26+2 sequence with Bikram in 1987. Through practicing yoga daily I became a successful International Yoga Teacher.
My life in Yoga includes: Owning and managing the first Hot Yoga Studio in Phoenix in 1991 for 10 years. Opening another Hot Yoga Studio in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Holding a rare certificate from the Ghosh College of Physical Education in Calcutta. (The birthplace of Hot Yoga 26+2) One of the first Yoga teachers to hold a 500 hour Yoga Alliance certification. Being an International A-Level Yoga Judge. One of the most experienced Hot Yoga Teachers in the world. I have been married for decades (to the same husband) and always have had 2 dogs. Worked in Yoga Studios all over the world. The Foundry under the guidance of Nicole Deacon is by far the most genuine Yoga Studio. I love and enjoy working at The Foundry.

Ellen Keane
26&2 HOT YOGA, HOT FLOW YOGA, YIN YOGA, HIIT & PILATES TEACHER
Ellen was first introduced to yoga by her father, who took her to a Bikram yoga class when she was in high school. As an athlete, she loved the structure and intensity of the class. After sustaining an injury, Ellen incorporated more yoga into her life and found a new sense of community outside of being a soccer player. She found the Baptiste yoga practice and got her 200-RYT certification in February of 2017 in Savannah, GA and has been teaching Vinyasa Power Flow Yoga and Yin Yoga ever since. Soon after Ellen moved to AZ with her husband and 3 cats, and taught around the Valley before she completed her 300-RYT at the Foundry Yoga in 2021. She now teaches 26&2, Hot Flow, Yin Yoga, Hot HIIT, and (Hot Pilates coming soon.) Ellen loves the community and teaching at the Foundry so much that she started working at the front desk and worked her way up to the Tempe-Mesa Studio Manager and the Retail Manager for the Foundry Yoga!

Jeremy Fairley
TEACHER - 26&2 YOGA, HOT FLOW, HOT HIIT
I started Bikram Yoga after some persistent pestering from my friend Ben Zorensky in 2005. I had suffered a pretty bad knee injury a few years before and was just not the same. I could not do a lot of the physical activities and sports that I loved so much and I was only 30 years old. My first class was a disaster and humbling. I was in good looking shape from working out, but my endurance, flexibility, balance, and focus were laughable. I actually did not return to my second class for almost exactly 1 year later! Something in my mindset had changed and I was much more receptive to the philosophy behind the practice. I am an anatomy and science geek. So the consistency and the movement behind the yoga asana series was something very concrete for me to believe in. After that second class I had a very different reaction than a year ago. Within 2 weeks I had made the arrangements to work at the front desk for yoga trade and to go to teacher training in the fall of 2006!
The yoga has transformed my physical being, my focus, my patience, and my empathy for others. The practice has allowed me to continue doing the activities I love like hiking, biking and camping. I have met so many wonderful people through working the front desk, teaching and practicing at so many great studios valleywide and worldwide! It is an awesome lifelong community of support. I met one particular person whom I am honored to call my wife and the mother of our little yogi daughter! Audrey inspires me as a teacher and as a husband everyday!
I love teaching and taking the 90 minute classic most. The other options are awesome too but I am a purist and I like the pace and sequence for what it is. My favorite pose is standing head to knee because I feel that single posture has taught me the most about myself and how to shape and refine my practice. Many people used to quote Bikram that that particular asana tells everything about a person and I understand now what that idea means at least for myself.
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with many students, teachers and studios owners that I have great respect for and have helped coach and shape me into the teacher I am today. I also look forward to continued growth and understanding as a teacher and for my own practice. That is the beautiful thing about yoga to me....there is no finish line so the joy comes from the continued practice!

Audrey Fairley
TEACHER - 26&2 YOGA, HOT FLOW, HOT HIIT
I have been practicing Bikram yoga for a little over 10 years. I went to teacher training in Fall 2009. I came across Bikram yoga when I was suffering from runners injuries in my knees, hips, and lower back. I also have Crohn's disease and had regular flare-ups and digestive complications. After my first class, I knew I needed this yoga so badly, mainly because it was so hard! I never struggled as much as I did in my first class..... or first 50 classes ;) but that's what drew me to it more. I was an athlete since a child and had been through some difficult training's while in the Air Force from 2003-2007, but nothing as challenging as hot yoga! Since I found a consistent practice in hot yoga, my Crohn's disease is in full remission without any medications. I also look leaner and longer than I ever did while running and lifting weights. Most of all, my body bounced right back after having my beautiful daughter, Harper! What inspires me most these days, are the students I get to teacher in and out of the hot room. I get the opportunity to watch people grow cognitively, physically, and spiritually everyday.

Tara Duffy
TEACHER - 26&2 YOGA, BASIC YOGA, GUIDED MEDITATION
For the love of Bikram Yoga! I especially look forward to the final savasana where I often find myself in a state of divine peace. My Bikram practice has evolved from a physical challenge with my angry knees to so much more. I am drawn to the structure and consistency of the 90 minute Bikram series. It affords me balance and longevity with the activities and social work I do outside the hot room. When I can get out of my own way and into a meditative state, truly synchronizing movement with breath I let go and this is healing. I cannot tell you if I will reach the full expression of all the asanas like standing head to knee… in this lifetime but oh how I love to keep trying and believing in myself and all the incredible yogis who come to the Foundry and inspire. The human body mind spirit connection is simply amazing especially when we practice together. My truth is at the end of practice after all effort when I see my reflection in the mirror dripping in sweat no matter the rolls or wrinkles glowing back at me, I feel most beautiful. Bikram Yoga is for all. I want to share this healing yoga practice with the world one breath at a time.
I took a leap of faith, quit my day job at the time and dug into some retirement so I could attend Bikram Yoga teacher training Spring of 2015 in Thailand. I am so glad I did! Yoga teacher training has deepened my practice and continues to help me work though anxiety and fear of public speaking. We are all each other’s teachers and I am thankful for each and every one of you. The Foundry Community continues to provide a safe and supported space to grow. I’ve had the wonderful opportunities recently to participate in the 26 plus training with Gianna Purcell, The Body Love workshop with Casey Urban, and Modern Meditation Teacher Training with Jemini Wild.

Jen Dinh
HOT PILATES TEACHER
The moment I completed my first Bikram yoga class in 2016, I was hooked. I knew that I had finally found a practice I enjoyed and was able to stick with consistently. As time went on, I realized that teaching was definitely part of my calling. I wanted to help and heal others in the same way my teachers had done for me. In 2020, I enrolled in the Foundry Fundamentals teacher training program, which consisted of a 100 hour Pilates teacher certification and 200 hour yoga teacher certification. I love teaching at The Foundry because we truly have the best community. Our members are what make this studio so special; you may attend your first class and not know anyone in the beginning, but afterwards you will have made new friends and accountability buddies. Outside of teaching, I work full time as a chemist for an environmental laboratory. In my free time, I love attending music festivals and shows, traveling, being a plant mom, and spending time with friends and family.
Rhett Johnson
TEACHER: 26&2 YOGA, HOT FLOW, HOT PILATES, BASIC YOGA
I’m an Arizona native, most recently from NYC. I felt the need for a career shift and decided to come back to Arizona. I am now a 200 hour RYT Yoga Instructor and certified mat Pilates instructor. New to Arizona I began my journey in health and wellness in 2018. I found hot yoga at the Foundry and quickly committed to a daily practice as I found it helped my mind/body connection and loved the great community. In the first month of practice I asked myself, “what will I be doing a year from now?” and decided to buy an annual membership. It was the best decision as it sent me on a continued track of self discovery, there’s nothing like sitting in uncertainty, but going forward anyways, and I was challenged by my mentor to go through teacher training for yoga and Pilates in 2019. Coming out of that I got to further explore body movement, enhance leadership skills, and move forward in my goal to help others with their mind/body connection. I have been teaching since 2019 and still enjoy taking and teaching class for the movement, mindfulness practice and sense of community. During 2020, I hosted Park Yoga twice a week and gained so many friends while honing my teaching ability. In 2021, I took my 300 hour and added flow and 26/2, There’s nothing like being in a yoga bubble, I highly recommend it. I enjoy my motorcycle, raising my cat named Goose, music, festivals, any Thai/Indian food, and live in Tempe. A quote that has stayed with me since being a teenager is, “between stimulus and response. There is space, in that space lies our freedom.“

Lindsey Garrison
26&2 HOT YOGA, HOT FLOW YOGA, HOT PILATES & HOT HIIT TEACHER
My background was primarily in bodybuilding and sports fitness nutrition. In 2012 I found Bikram Yoga. I fell in love with the structure, discipline, sweat and practice and began to dedicate more and more of my time to yoga.
I completed my teacher training in 2021 and dove in, committed to learning as much as I could. I currently hold certifications totalling over 1000 hours of education.
I'm certified in Bikram Yoga (26&2), Vinyasa Yoga, Basic Yoga, Mat Pilates, HIIT, Himalayan Kundalini, Yin Yoga as well as a Usui Reiki Master.
I've called The Foundry home since 2021 and couldn't imagine a practice without them. The staff is encouraging, the students are humble, the energy is intense, the studios are clean, our management leads by example - there's so many things I love about The Foundry.
When I'm not teaching Yoga, I'm spending time with my friends, dogs, dog rescue and other volunteer and nonprofit work.

He did The Foundry 26&2 Teacher Training in the summer of 2022, and completed a Yin certification in the spring of 2023.

MacKenzi Oxborrow
26&2 HOT YOGA TEACHER
I found Bikram yoga in 2012 after lamenting to a friend about how much I was struggling to find a “workout” I enjoyed. I grew up practicing ballet extensively and my body was craving movement after a few years off. That friend suggested Bikram and I’ve been hooked ever since taking my first class at what is now the Foundry Tempe/Mesa. I’ve since moved to several different states, and no matter what new place I was in I always found my home in the hot room. I love the connection between mind and body that the Bikram practice offers. “It’s just as much a mental practice as it is physical” after all! There’s truly nothing like stepping in the hot room and forgetting about everything outside those four walls.
After years of dreaming of teacher training, I finally completed 200 hrs with Gianna Purcell at the Siddhi School of yoga in 2021 with a focus in 26+2. I taught regularly in Tucson until I moved back to Phoenix in 2023 and feel like it’s such a full circle moment to be back at my first studio ever - now as a teacher! (And still a student quite often as well). I love nothing more than connecting with students and to “nerd out” about postures, so feel free to chat after class!

Bebj Hejac
HOT BARRE TEACHER
Bebo was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, before moving to Arizona in 2010. With a background in dance and cheerleading, she discovered barre while finishing college and quickly fell in love with it. After becoming a regular in barre classes, Bebo earned her teaching certification in 2013 and has been sharing her love for barre ever since.
Bebo loves teaching hot barre at the Foundry because it combines the best elements of Pilates, ballet, and yoga to create the ultimate low-impact, high-energy workout. Music is a core part of her classes, creating a fun and energizing environment. Bebo’s goal is to give students more than just a great workout—she wants them to leave feeling strong, motivated, uplifted, and like they had a genuinely great time.
Outside of The Foundry, Bebo runs her own digital marketing business. She stays active by running stairs at ASU and taking long walks with her dad. In her downtime, she enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time with friends, family, and her three cats. Fun fact about Bebo: She's a true animal lover and fosters neonatal kittens in her spare time!

Brittany Shuman
HOT HIIT TEACHER
Growing up in New York, Brittany started her wellness and movement journey at a young age through dance. Brittany graduated college and began working, but found that she was missing the community she had always found through dance. She began trying several different forms of group fitness and settled into her hot practice in 2018. After moving to Phoenix in 2022, Brittany was happy to find a new community in the Foundry.
Outside of the studio, Brittany has a degree in Chemical Engineering. She works in manufacturing improvement and process support. In all areas of her life, she is passionate about working with others to foster growth and make change. She is excited to extend this passion to the Foundry Community!

I am an Arizona Native and have a Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University, GO DEVILS!!!
I began attending The Foundry in 2021, while dealing with the stress of a high pressure career and recurrent running injuries. I have experience hip bursitis, cortizone injections, a glute medius partial tear, and needed something to help me stretch and build strength. I appreciated how welcoming the Foundry community was in addition to how therapeutic and medatitive the 26/2 practice is. I also found great benefit in taking HIIT, and Pilates, Barre classes to work on building the strength and cardio base needed for my other activities!
I have always been an active person, participating in Crossfit, hiking, Ultrarunning and more recently, DragonBoating. I purposely plan "run-cations" anywhere I travel, and it is my goal to eventually visit all the National parks. In my spare time, I enjoy adventuring with my Husband, and hanging out with my pup Tallulah and my kitties at home.
I retired last year, and am so happy to have the opportunity to work the front desk and welcome our Foundry members to their practice each day.
