I grew up in Switzerland with nature as one of my first teachers. I engaged in a profound and continuous exploration of nature as a child. This brought me deep calm while stimulating my curiosity and joy as it fostered a form of spirituality that even today, permeates my life. That childhood experience also awakened my interest in the healing arts. The study of plants, herbs, homeopathy, Bach flowers, Reiki, as well as physical exercises, fitness, and dance filled many years of my early adulthood with riches. At 32-years old I came to California to study English. At the same time I also started attending regular Yoga classes.

In 2007, I received my 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teaching Certificate. I have been a Yoga Teacher and student ever since. Now, I am attending classes to receive a 250-hour Yoga and Ayurveda Certificate. I am continuing my education in the application of Yoga as a Therapeutic mechanism for Prenatal needs and Hormone function. I am a Yin Yoga Instructor and part of my continuing education studies include Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Nidra, Kids Yoga, and Vinyasa Flow, while keeping a close eye on the Vedic Arts and Healing.

Yoga has become an integral part of my daily life walking the path of the Ashtanga (8 limbs).

I believe that Yoga's occidental revival is much needed. The movement art-form of using the body and breath to heal while counteracting the deleterious effect(s) of sedentary culture. I love the benefits provided by the practice as they are manifold; not just a physically strong, flexible body, but much more! Yoga can bring emotional, mental shifts and guide us to greater awareness, loving kindness, and a deeply unshakable trust into the flow of life. Most of all, when Yoga is practiced with an integral approach including Ashtanga Limbs 4 and 6, Pranayama (breath work) and Dhyana (meditation) respectively, it can bring-about energetic transformation(s) and profoundly enhance our entire energy profile, thus, connecting us to our true nature of joy. I am committed and excited to guide students in a manner that deepens their practice on all levels.
